Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. Agreement
By using QATraining.uk, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service
QATraining.uk provides free educational and career-support tools for people interested in software testing, QA, SDET, and related roles. The service includes learning resources, prompts, practical tools, CV analysis, application support, and community submissions.
Public resources are free to use. Advertising may support the service in principle, but advertising is disabled unless and until a legally required consent setup is active.
3. Age and accounts
You must be at least 16 to use QATraining.uk. Public users do not need an account for the main resources, but some progress, badge, profile, moderation, or admin features may require authentication.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing activity.
- Do not try to bypass rate limits, spam controls, moderation, security controls, or admin-only areas.
- Do not upload malware, hostile prompts, or content that interferes with the service.
- Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content without written permission.
- Do not submit content you do not have permission to use.
5. Your content and community submissions
You are responsible for the CVs, job descriptions, prompts, notes, and other content you submit. Do not submit confidential, unnecessary, or highly sensitive information unless it is needed for the feature you are using.
By submitting prompts, guide ideas, or other community content, you give QATraining.uk a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to review, publish, display, adapt, and distribute that contribution as part of the free community service. We may reject, edit, or remove submissions for quality, safety, legal, or moderation reasons.
6. AI and career guidance
CV analysis, match scores, rewritten CV content, application packs, prompts, recruiter messages, and interview preparation outputs are general guidance only. They do not guarantee interviews, job offers, salary outcomes, recruiter decisions, or any other result.
AI and automated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing and adapting outputs before using them in work, study, applications, or public profiles.
7. Third-party content and links
The service may link to or embed resources, videos, tools, adverts, or websites provided by third parties. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, claims, security, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep QATraining.uk useful and available, but we may change, suspend, remove, or limit features where needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, moderation, or product maintenance. Free public resources may change over time.
9. Liability and your rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to that, QATraining.uk is provided for general learning and career-support purposes. We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to review outputs, your use of third-party services, or events outside our reasonable control.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your usual place of residence gives you additional rights.
